The needs of young individuals in focus: An analysis for an insurance company.

Our client, a renowned insurance company, aimed to better understand the needs and expectations of young people regarding insurance products in 2022. Through a comprehensive online survey, we examined a representative sample in Austria.


The results indicate that young people generally view insurance positively but perceive high costs as a barrier. They particularly value clarity and transparency in insurance products. They have a realistic understanding, especially regarding the monthly costs of private health insurance. Additionally, there is growing interest in the topic of mental health. The study also highlights that many young people have limited experience with insurance and only engage more deeply when the need arises.


It was fascinating for us to delve into the world of young adults. Some results pleasantly surprised us, while others were concerning, especially regarding the high mental stress during and shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic.
